Deregister end-of-life vehicles online with the certificate of destruction
Vehicle deregistration for vehicle dismantlers works digitally: Zevra deregisters accepted end-of-life vehicles via the security codes and keeps the operator number and date of the certificate of destruction with the case – no stack of paper for the registration office.
What vehicle dismantlers gain with Zevra
Certificate of destruction with the case
In the dealer portal you enter the dismantler's operator number and the issue date of the certificate of destruction when deregistering.
Deregistration without the keeper
According to the Federal Ministry of Transport the security codes are enough – the last keeper does not have to identify themselves.
Every case documented
Application, authority decision and timestamp are kept with the case – traceable for any audit.
Monthly collective invoice
One fixed price per deregistration, one invoice a month.
How an end-of-life vehicle runs through Zevra
From acceptance to confirmation – in 3 steps.
Accept the vehicle
Issue the certificate of destruction, take the registration certificate and plates.
Enter the codes
Security code of part I and the codes of the seal stickers, plus operator number and issue date.
Retrieve the confirmation
The authority's decision is available online with the case.
What the Vehicle Registration Ordinance requires
Mandatory for M1, N1 and L5e
If a vehicle of these classes is handed to a recognised facility for recovery, it must be deregistered without delay.
Public notice with a 4-week deadline
If the previous keeper does not meet these duties, the authority calls in the registration certificate; after that the registration ends.
Officially 2.10 instead of 15.90 euros
Under the fee schedule deregistration costs 2.10 euros online and 15.90 euros at the counter.
