Register motorhomes and caravans online
Vehicle registration for caravan dealers works digitally: Zevra registers motorhomes and caravans online, transfers used vehicles and deregisters trade-ins – in one dealer portal, with no trip to the registration office before the season.
What caravan dealers gain with Zevra
Motorhome and caravan in one procedure
Under the Vehicle Registration Ordinance the internet-based procedure applies to motor vehicles and their trailers – with the same security codes, eVB number and SEPA mandate as for cars.
Delivery the same day
The temporary registration proof is printed and valid for 10 days; papers and stickers arrive by post.
Power of attorney without online ID
The customer signs the power of attorney with a qualified electronic signature – even on the road, without a card reader.
Status of every case
In the dealer portal you see live whether a case has been filed, decided or completed.
How a leisure vehicle runs through Zevra
From the sales contract to handover – in 3 steps.
Obtain the power of attorney
The buyer signs digitally; the dealership's standing power of attorney is filed once in the portal.
Enter the vehicle
VIN, security code of part II, eVB number and SEPA mandate.
Register and hand over
Print the temporary proof, fit the plates, hand over the vehicle.
What to watch for with motorhomes and caravans
Caravan: only 1 plate
The caravan is a trailer and carries one plate at the rear; the motorhome carries 2, front and rear.
General inspection after 36, then every 24 months
Under Annex VIII of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations this applies to motorhomes up to 3.5 t; shorter intervals apply above 3.5 t.
Seasonal plates for 2 to 11 months
Outside the operating period the vehicle may neither be driven nor parked on public roads. Please ask us in advance about cases with seasonal plates.
